Bladder Stones which are actually a collection of various minerals and organic matter are a common problem of cats especially males. This accumulation of minerals and organic matter usually occurs because of any Urinary Tract Infection or Inflammation. Urinary Bladder Stones, also known as Bladder Uroliths are of various types and some of them keep growing in size until reaching the size of many millimeters. These stones not only cause pain and inflammation of the bladder but also offer an obstruction or complete blockage of urine in cats.

Symptoms

When talking about the symptoms of any disease in case, it's a bit complicated because cats are actually wild animals and thus have the nature of hiding any disease or problem they have. So we need to pay attention to our cat to know if there is any problem with him/her. Some of the common symptoms of Bladder Stones we are able to see in cats include:
-Forceful urination
-Urinating at random places
-Blood in Urine
-Complete obstruction /Blockage of urine (especially in male cats)
-Licking of Genital organs
-Urine frequency more than usual
-Spraying instead of normal urination
-Feeling pain when urinating
These are some of the common symptoms on the basis of which we can guess if our cat is having any urinary tract infection or any other problem related to the urinary tract including bladder stones/uroliths.
